Duchenne San Diego is proud to present you with a new fundraising event to benefit children and families who live with Duchenne
Muscular Dystrophy.
We hereby welcome you to the First Annual PILATES FOR A CURE, held on Sunday October 4, 2009 at the Del Mar Double Tree Hotel.
Here are the details:

FORMAT:
- A 60 minute Mat Pilates class
- Classes will be led by qualified Pilates Instructors who can adapt all movements to match all skill levels

- All registrants will receive a Gift Bag, which will include (among other goodies) Pilates for a Cure logo wear and
FREE FITNESS CLASSES of your choice at Fitness Quest 10

OUR CAUSE:
- Duchenne San Diego (formerly known as Kick for a Cure, Inc) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization
that is dedicated to raising funds to help make a difference in the lives of children in San Diego and beyond who
live with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
- DMD is the most lethal genetic childhood disorder
- DMD affects 1 in 3000 boys worldwide
- Those afflicted by DMD have a lifespan of 16 to 25 years
- To date, there is NO CURE for DMD!!!
